Performance Evaluation of Network Management Operations using static and mobile agent methodologies

In this paper we present an introduction to an MSc project about the performance evaluation of network management using static and mobile agent methodologies. The project will explore through simulation, the loading created by a variety of network performance management activities using both static and mobile agent methodologies. It will compare and contrast the effects of these activities and methodologies across the range of network management performance parameters including throughput, utilization rates along with other performance measurements.
